Digital Ocean and Vultr and other VPS providers have an ability to create a snapshot of a server to be reused, and easily spin up a server with your particular configuration – however that locks you in to their platform. I’ve recently moved my web hosting to Vultr (click here for referal link), and this was a good opportunity for me to automate the deployment of my servers using Ansible. It was actually much simpler than I thought – and I can now deploy a new server with virtualmin hosting panel, and ability to easily add my customized WordPress installation.
